The start of the school year is often a moment that none of us expect. Whether you're a child going back to school or an adult returning to work after a well-deserved holiday in the south of France, it's often a difficult time.

So to get you off to a good start, here is a selection of pairs of shoes for the new school year.

WHAT IS THE BUSINESS LINE ?

The Finsbury's business line is a new range that offers the working man adapted, elegant, comfortable and versatile shoes.

Composed of 8 different models including a pair of buckles (monks), loafers, derbies and oxford shoes, each pair is a dressing room essential, a classic to start or complete a collection.

The 4 new pairs in this collection are created from French Box Calf leather from the Tanneries d'Annonay and all have a resistant rubber sole to allow immediate and comfortable use as well as better cushioning when walking. As for the assembly, the models are Blake stitched (sewn from the inside), in order to obtain a good resistance of the shoe over time.

The interest of this new line is to allow each man who wishes to offer himself a pair to be able to use it for a long time, with an optimal comfort and an indisputable quality of leather.

 WHICH MODELS TO CHOOSE?

 NEWARK MODEL

The Newark model is a derby available in black and brown leather. You can easily recognise a derby because it is a low shoe with lacing. This model is very classic and is the most common type of shoe for men. They can be worn with blue or grey suits, for example. Perfect for all types of events, they guarantee elegance, comfort and style.

HEATHROW MODEL

The Heathrow model is a richelieu available in black and brown leather. Its little touch of originality is placed at the level of the laces, with a velvet front panel. Usually, a model like this one (oxford shoes) is worn with a suit, but you can also wear it with dark jeans (blue, black) or with a chino.

LUTON MODEL

For a business casual look, the Luton loafer is ideal. Available in black and brown leather, it is a model that is progressively becoming a basic part of a man's wardrobe, being simple but very elegant.

The men's loafer can be worn with a suit/formal outfit but it is also possible to wear them in simpler looks by associating them with a jeans/shirt combo.

The Luton model can be worn with or without socks, so you can really get the look right and wear this pair with different styles and for different seasons.

GATWICK MODEL

The Gatwick model is a single-buckle shoe available in black leather and brown suede. If you want a change from your traditional trainers or loafers, then the monks are the pair for you. You can accompany this model with a black rolled-up chino. If you're looking for a dressier effect, the pair can be worn with a nice coloured suit and a white shirt.

Looking for a more casual back-to-school look? A nice pair of suede boots or sneakers can also do the trick.
