Benefit N°1 :
Selecting the leather
The House follows extremely strict and precise specifications when selecting leather for its shoe ranges. Finsbury mainly uses leather from Les Tanneries du Puy and Les Tanneries d'Annonay. The notoriety of Les Tanneries du Puy is based on maintaining a traditional know-how in the manufacture of high-end calfskin, particularly Boxcalf. Their job is to produce quality calf leather, in a traditional and artisanal process, which is nowadays unique in the world.
The Finsbury shoe is almost exclusively made of leather, our Product Experts team carefully select the French leather used. The selection of a full-grain calf leather, the most noble and the most qualitative part of the leather, gives the Finsbury shoes elegance, robustness and refinement.
Benefit N°2 :
The uniqueness of a handmade product
In our shoemaker's studios (in Italy, Spain and Portugal), handmade is key. The cuts, shapes, the production of soles, heels, punctures, seams, patina finishes are all craftsmen and realised exclusively by hand. Finsbury mixes the high-quality manufacturing tradition with a creative passion of its ever-changing collections.
An artisanal craft, with over 200 manual operations, legacy of the techniques used by the master-bootmakers.
Benefit N°3 :
A fully European manufacture
To reach and maintain excellence, the House has chosen to manufacture 100% of the Casual, Vendôme, Latina, Classic Range and Tradizione ranges in Europe.
